ELAC is a volunteer-run organization and we need all parents to participate in a variety of activities from timing
to helping in the kitchen.
Swim lane assembly and break-down
ELAC, in conjunction with ELPOA Beach Club, is responsible for swim lane set-up and breakdown, including deck assembly, turnboard, starting block and lane line installation. All hands are needed "on deck" at the beginning and end of the swim season for this critical task.
Regular home meets
Every family is required to work in the kitchen for one home meet as well as providing lane timers for all home meets. In addition, we need help with meet set-up,
break-down, etc.
Saturday and Wednesday away meets
We are required to provide officials and timers.
ELAC Fun Friday
We sponsor one of ELPOA's Fun Fridays, usually the weekend of "ELPOA Day." This is always a popular event and one of our main fundraisers.
"Go for the Gold” Invitational
This is our major event of the season and our biggest fundraiser, and
we need everyone’s help with kitchen, set-up, break-down, admissions,
programs, timers, awards, runners and selling ad space and/or boosters.
