Here's a little information about our Coach, Dave Nehls.

This is Dave’s second year coaching the ELAC Swim Team, and he’s very excited to share an excellent summer with all the swimmers, coaches, and parents involved.  Dave started swimming in his teens and excelled in breaststroke and IM, eventually swimming for Ramapo College, becoming a two-year captain and setting several school records in his time.   Since graduating from college, he has served as top assistant coach for the Ramapo College Swim Team for the past six seasons, helping six swimmers reach NCAA Championships.  Throughout his years of coaching he’s worked with all sorts of clubs, clinics, and teams, helping swimmers of all ages excel in and out of the water.  He hopes to use his experience coaching to help create a fun, positive, and encouraging culture where we become the best swimmers we can be and have fun doing it!
